For this weeks post ( Nov. 9-15) we got to wright about anything we want except it has to be something that happened in school.
This week we were talking about our test on Social Studies about mapping, and things that happen around the world. Mr. Fisher said that we can make the questions for the test, so in groups we got to make questions about what we learned about the unit. We had to make at least 5 in each group and to make it more interesting about making questions on the test if 1 of your groups got a question picked for on the test than you mark on you test gets 3 percent higher. In my group we were very slow and we only made 2 but we got 1 out of the 2 on the test. The most that people got on the test was 2. I really do hope that i pass this test because last year when i was in Gr. 6 we had a Social Studies test and i only got a 64% so my goal is to get at least over 75%. I am going to study all weekend so that i can get 100% maybe.
Also this week we got to talk to someone that Mr. Fisher had got a hold of. This guy is a righter that wright’s about the Internet. The story that we read and had to do activities for it was “What the Web Is For” it is a story telling you what the Internet or web is really supposed to be and what it is used for. In the afternoon we got up the projector and made a video call with the guy he was on the web cam and so was the class, we could also hear him and he could here us.
I think that it is really cool to have gotten to talk to a person that is a famous writer. I please do hope that i get an 75% to 100%.
